Teecee, did you happen to notice...

that "Holding, but who knows what for" was qualified by the phrase "... if management thinks this is acceptable performance."

Unfortunately, many seem blind to how shareholders are being played by this management team. I do believe that IDCC has tremendous intrinsic value in its engineering staff and patent portfolios - thus I continue to hold. I also believe, however, that much of IDCC's potential value has been repeatedly offset and diminished by this management's failure to establish and nurture credibility within the investment community.

IMO, anyone who listened to the 4Q conference call heard Goldberg and Fagan ridiculously assert that IDCC had achieved a highly successful quarter and year.

Tell me, what did the Street think of their "highly successful" quarter and year?

Perhaps you're happy with this umpteenth "buying opportunity" management has so generously given us. Personally, I prefer managers who seek consistently growing share value rather than those who permit extreme volatility that coincidentally always seems to yield ISOs "awarded" near the bottom of the trough.

Rather than sell, I plan to stick around and lobby for only that degree of shareholder activism needed to convince this or a new management team that they must begin acting in a manner that consistently commands the trust and respect of long-term shareholders and the investment community in general.
