Private e-mails...

I believe that the Hamiltons were simply trying to do everything that they could to reassure investors that they are indeed doing their best to work in investor's best interests. Until funding comes in, there are very few ways for them to demonstrate their sincerity. Hence, I believe they shared the e-mails as a demonstration of good faith to/with investors.

I corresponded with Steve yesterday evening and again this morning. Here's the gist:

Sighting confidentiality reasons, Reliant agreed to remove all reference to correspondence with River Oaks from Shareholder’s Corner. Information posted to Shareholder’s Corner is intended for use by Reliant shareholders only. However, a nefarious third party attempted to utilize this information to the determent of both River Oaks and Reliant. This third party action encumbered the deal somewhat. However, Steve went on to say that he does still expect the capability letter by this Friday, with funding now following sometime in the next ten to twelve business days.

Steve said that three press releases will be issued.

1. The first will be issued when the capability letter is received (by Friday this week)

2. The second will be issued when the funds are received (within 10 – 12 business days)

3. The third will be issued when business is re-launched. (within 12 to 15 business days)

Steve went on to apologize for the heartache this has caused everyone and assured me that he is working in the most forthright way possible.

Finally, Steve assured me that Reliant has "a solid unconditional agreement in writing from River Oaks to provide the funding." (Do not mistake this last comment for the "capability letter". As of this e-mail, the capability letter had not yet been received.
