Snackman - I simply cannot question your beliefs and your resolve, because they are unquestionable. I simply don't have enough evidence to jump on that train with you as holitically as you have. That's all.

However, I would expect nothing less from you, because I know you're a believer. While you're no more committed than I am, you are more trusting, and calm about it.

That's the difference between you and I.

I am disappointed. Not to the point of getting out. But clearly disappointed. What you're saying is that the market is not being defined by them. And that's cool. But that's not another Microsoft story either, because Microsoft did define their market, and because of it, they now own it.

Look at the compromizes we've all made on this journey. We all believed that Wave would define and own its market, when their chipset hardware and software solution first came out. I no longer believe that, because the story is simply not compelling enough anymore. That doesn't mean that I won't still make money though. It just means what it means. If you can't define your market, penetrate it as the majority, and thereby, own it, you won't ever be the next killer app.
