March 29, 2004 3:54:00 PM ET

BELLINGHAM, WA, March 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - North Star Diamonds, Inc. (NQB Pink Sheets: NSDM) announces an aggressive exploration program for the balance of 2004, which consists of Phases 2, 3 and 4. This program will provide one of the most comprehensive diamond exploration programs in the Province of Manitoba.

Phase 1: This resulted in the discovery of a lamprophyre on Shire 1. Further study of this project is still in progress.

Phase 2: The Wekusko Lake program is located approximately 354 miles North West of Winnipeg, in a very promising diamond exploration area, where the only kimberlite dyke was found in 1992. The geophysical work is nearing completion. Drilling is projected to begin approximately the middle of April, depending on the availability of equipment and on weather conditions.

Phase 3: located approximately 236 miles North West of Winnipeg. Initial studies of this location are completed and drilling is expected to commence in June.

Phase 4: located approximately 37 miles to the south east of Winnipeg. This program is scheduled to commence in August or September.

Additional information regarding these phases will be forthcoming by way of press releases in the future.

NSDM now controls a total of 104,523 acres of land in Manitoba which was located with the assistance of computer enhanced airborne magnetics.

NSDM has projected being listed on the OTC BB by approximately early December. Since NSDM has been operating only nine months, the main problem encountered is the length of time of available financial statements.

North Star Diamonds, Inc. is committed to a long-range plan for diamond exploration and feels that with the Superior Craton Project and the assets in Ukraine, North Star is focused on establishing the Company as a true world explorer in search for diamonds.
