you're focused on the quarter by quarter
which i feel is the bane of WS. it's an artificial requirement that creates a business for WS. if it happen this quarter, i'll be delighted. if it happens next year--in the way i expect--then i'll be ecstatic! the focus on quarterly performance is artificial! WS created the phenomena.

when you invest in disruptive technology, escpecially through an IP play, you shouldn't be worried about tomorrow. it's like being margined. you, me, idcc can't control the vast inertia that needs to be moved. the TSUNAMI is coming. it can't be stopped, it can't be denied. when is the question. place your bets, takes your chances.

like tc said, when did nec's fix stabalize? if you're betting last quarter, you might be disappointed. if you're betting wcdma is coming and that idcc is essential then eventually you'll win.
