Probably this biggest reason why he lost that election, was his unwillingness to fight. The Bush people brought in family fixer James Baker from day one. The one thing Baker does well is fight. He made damn sure the GWB won the election no matter what it took.

Greg Palast does a good job documenting how Gores attitude towards process, cost him the election.
