Weby, I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop. What if the the same organizations that partially funded (The Homeland Security was one) software FDE research, also funded the same "hackfest" for hard drive FDE? Maybe that report gets released next week and says hardware FDE is unbreakable.

I agree that we are now in the cycle. Even the software FDE guys acknowledge that they will be gone within 5 years.
