Hi AimGuy, He has one in his car and raves about it..

I would never waste money on buying a car! <smile>

I am a utility person, why have transportation unless you can haul stuff...

I got a 94 Dodge Pick (2 wheel drive) with a full size bed. When Dodge came out with the new look in late 93, I started researching and put together a PO for mine. I picked everything from the seat covers to the transmission. Put a down payment on it and waited. Waited and waited... It was suppose to come from Detroit, but after I called several times I found that it was being made in Mexico. I told them that the last thing I wanted was a Pick Up made across the border.

It has been a great truck, I get at least one recall every other month. I saved them up for about two years and finally took the boy in for the fixings. They charged me $1000 for those recalls, shame on me!!!

Anyway, I ordered it with eight speakers in the cab, the best radio and a 6 pack cd changer under the driver's seat. Everyone has always said that it was the best sound system in a Pick Up they ever heard. Then things started to go down hill.

For whatever reason the Radio decided it would only play in the afternoons. I thought it was moisture or coldnest, but what ever, no one could fix it.

Then the CD started to act up. Now remember it is under my seat, I'm spilling coffee in the am and flushing it out with Wiskey in the evening!

XM shows up from the Heavens and I say hey!!! I can justify the $1000 for the Alpine, cause I ain't got a Damn thing that works anymore accept the 400 horses pulling my boat...

Tonight I was listening to channel 50 while driving to a Crawfish Boil. They were playing "Dave Mason", how did I know that? Cause I pushed a little button on the Alpine that displays the Artist that is banging on the Guitar. Do that with your am/fm oldie?

Anyway after I listened to the song, I felt about 20 years younger. Then I had this horrible thought! "Where have I been for the last 20 to 30 years, how did I miss all the wonderful songs and artists?

I'm catching up with XM and enjoying every minute of it.
