This situation is really totally ridiculous. Dead equipment sitting around all over a couple of states, and no one wants any part of it. Money thrown down the toilet pursuing nonexistent business. So, what do they do with all that equipment costing millions of dollars? Tear it off the utility poles and sell it for scrap? Gobility has to do something with it or they'll be charged by the municipalities for removing it. The trouble is, they'll take MOBL down the drain with them because MOBL had the incredibly stupid idea of assuming part of the lease debt obligation if Gobility couldn't make payments. Totally insane. No one with an IQ over 80 would ever do anything like that.
One might reasonably think that a company like Clearwire might have some interest in it instead of seeing it just tossed in the trash. Apparently not.
Many investors thought Jerry Sullivan was going to be the savior of MOBL, and it looks like he was right in the middle of this total screwup. Well, he did get more cities, but what good were they if they only added to the overall debt and loss of more and more money.
No news, no anything. Is anyone doing anything to resolve anything? It kind of looks like Telscape is out of the picture. If anyone can see any bright spots other than about four lawsuits with MOBL as the plaintiffs, I would really like to hear what they are.
