The EEE SDK is, by definition, a Software Developer Kit for NAC system providers.
The EEE SDK provides flexibility to the NAC systems provider to adapt their and its customer's system(s) to measuring what they want.
EEE SDK provides all the necessary libraries for the NAC systems designer to measure i.e the availability of an FDE drive, the possibility to measure if the client has the latest Virus definition loaded etc. The EEE SDK gives the NAC provider the possibility to custom tailor the application to the needs of a particular enterprise. Further, the EEE SDK provides all the libraries so that measurements (hashes) can be stored in the various TPMs. EEE writes to a defined interface, the TNC interface.
The SDK allows the NAC system provider to compile the EEE application have it installed on the client. The EEE SDK also generates the appropriate server application.
It's a fantastic approach to tailoring apps while always fully complying with the TCG standards.
It's going to be a fantastic driver for enterprises to turn their TPMs on.
