My wife and I recently bought new laptops with Vista Home Premium.

We did run into a few problems.

We installed our older copy of MS Office (2002) and then found out that Vista will not work with Outlook 2002 so we had to buy the upgrade to MS Office.

Then, we found that if you use IE browser and Web Access for your school email client it will not allow you to write emails or reply to emails. It's a Vista compatibility issue. Firefox browser will work OK for this.

Also if your school uses Blackboard for your lessons you will have a similar problem. IE won't work but Firefox will.

Other than that Vista hasn't been a big problem but there is a learning curve.
