Good morning tenac

How true the signs of the times are amongst us. Seems we have little time for each other and our families anymore in the world today, but Hebrews is clear, do not forsake assembling of yourselves. In 30 years of Christianity I've seen many things come and go. I was saved in the 70s, and was delivered from a lifestyle of sin and death. When I was a baby Christian I remember the freedom I had and how clean it felt. I have the same freedom today, but to whom much is given much is required. The Word of God is clear as Paul wrote when I was a child I walked and acted as a child when I became a man I put off the childish things. Childish and childlike are much different. It's not the 70s anymore, but God is the same yesterday today and forever it is I that changed. So has my church life. I go to church of about 30 members, and we consider our little town our spiritual watchtower. We are small in number but powerful in unity every week when we come together and sing praise over the prisoners and the prostitutes the brokenhearted the divorced the childless the widows the religious the proud, etc. we also asked the Holy Spirit to keep our ears from wanting to be tickled, that we might hear from Him and act on what He says. We asked Him to reveal His yoke for it is easy and we ask for His burden for his light, and over the 30 years that I've walked with Him in truth I've realized that the more I let Him speak to me and the more I let Him come to my understanding of the renewing of my mind the more I am responsible to allow myself to go that He might truly come.

So He is my strength and source. That was much easier when I was a child, but now that I'm an adult it seems much harder, I have found to stay faithful to what He has taught me means a little more of me must die that a little more of Him might live, and after 30 years there's been a lot of dying to self, and a lot more truth of living in HIM. I was praying for you last night and bear witness with your heart. And I will continue, seems I'm rambling a bit myself, so I'll end here by saying, back in the 50s and 60s you were a baby in Christ. You saw things through much more innocent eyes, I also in the 70s, but I bet the times were just as hard than as they are now it's just that we are the ones standing guard. May are day go well in Christ, we already know the day we live in. May the two not intertwine. Val smile

,,,just chill, that's what my kids say, seems to work,,,
