Good morning to you plugger...well I have to say Amen to this statement of yours...

Sometimes we as christians make way too big of a job for us to do, and all the time the simple things work wonders.

As I have said before, I think sometimes I put to much pressure on myself in "doing something" for the Lord...1st of all..I reckon if I would just turn myself off sometimes and listen to the Holy Spirit he will keep me informed of what and when i need to be doing. Instead, quite often "Im" putting that pressure on "myself" to get out and do something, and I know if its me doing the thinking... it might just very well not be the will of God. Even though it might be a Godly act or loving act...is it Gods will to be seen through?

I often think that my problem is sometimes..I get it in my head that I wasted so many wicked years living in sin that I need to catch up because God has been so good to me...I KNOW THAT I DONT HAVE TO DO THAT...BUT!....

Hey..if I am out doing Gods work, I know if he is behind it, I will succeed in whatever im doing...If I am doing what "I" think is Gods will...be it good...I might succeed and then maybe i wont..all depending on what God has in mind...Yes I should always be loving others and helping and setting a good example and and doing the things of a believer....Good works...God wants that..we are the body of Christ..he works through us...But no need to pressure ourselves because if God wants it done we will be able to see it through in his name.

So yes..keeping it simple most often goes a long long ways...
