We have some true scam artists here too, Mr Packer. Constant bashers whom more often than not hold no shrs of the companies they bash. ***HCPC provided info last Friday and they DID release a PR - TODAY 01/22/08 so eat crow. If I had a pending loan with Heritage does anyone think I would want to accept the previous rates - NO. Deals have to be recalculated to include the new lower rates or those in the pipeline will seek capital elsewhere. The company acted responsibly in extending the closure dates but that doesn't mean that a loan can't closed before that date!! I'll tell ya whom are stupid - the one's buying up 'cheap' financial shrs from the same companies who have been lying to us for 3-4 years now. (Merrill, Countrywide, Ambac, etc) MHO - RTB
