Dear Snowrider. Re: Perhaps you would like Intel to drain their coffers so they have no more money for R&D, Capital Expenditures, etc.. But I would prefer Intel not follow AMD's approach to running their business; I prefer the current balanced approach.

I was not talking about R&D and Capital Expenditures that are worthy expenses, essential for the survival of the corporation. You must know that Intel have invested and lost billion of dollars in numerous small and big corporations that have not contributed to the business. Top manager of Intel are sitting on the Boards of this corporations that pay them for their service and advise. I believe that Intel did not derive significant benefit from this investment. Intel Corporation is not an investment house. I believe that Intel has a miserable record as an investment bank.
