Sorry, I'm not following you. EyeTV is not an Apple product, AppleTV is.
EyeTV records OTA, so yes, a TiVo-like option would be desired, but what does that have to do with AAPL-BRST?
AppleTV plays content that was DL'd from within iTunes over the internet. It has no tuner. So no TiVo like option needed, iTunes does all that for it by checking subscribed podcasts for updates. No real 'schedule' applies. No different than audio podcasts and the iPod, so any FTRT issues were already settled for $10M. I guess I just don't see where the 'in' for Burst is here?
RE: 'confirmed rumors', lol - yes, we hear that sometimes around MacWorld. I guess it means: 'yep - that's a rumor alright!'.
