It was blatantly obvious to reasonable people emotionally removed from Urban the conman. Once the conman had everyone convinced about the NSS the blinders went on. As gump would say, "the perfect crime".

We Nasty Bashers had it all figured out very early on, and posted about it a great deal

But they--and that would include Frizzy and West--wouldn't listen.
