Sr. Firmware Engineer (Security Firmware)
Responsibilities will include:
· Design and develop code for the firmware of high performance desktop and enterprise class disk drive products
· Implement code for the advanced interface such as Serial ATA and Serial SCSI
· Work with major OEM customers to support customer requirements and debug customer issues
The qualified candidate will possess the following:
· Strong C/C++ and Assembly programming skills
· Experience in the FW programming of ARM or equivalent processor
· In-depth knowledge of FW debug tools such as emulators and scopes
· Experience in SATA/SAS/SCSI/Fiber Channel firmware development background
· Familiar with the HDD storage security Implementations
· Experience in the cryptographic design and development for the storage device
· Knowledge of Trusted Computing Group (TCG) storage security implementation
· Experience in the architecture and coding of the Full-Disk Encryption (FDE)
· Familiar with the NSA storage requirement and the FIPS 140-2 system requirements
· Familiar with RSA system requirement
· Good oral and written skills for presentation and documentation
· Open to domestic and/or international travel for technical consultation/presentation
· Prefer MS in EE or CS (BSEE or BSCS minimum) and at lease 5 years of related experience
