It is not a vague thought at all. It was based on my personal analysis (Just a bunch of graphics and numbers). I don't know much, but I got an MBA over ten years ago from one of the respected university in CA, and I run my own business.
There are so many smart people on this board that I would not even dare to challenge. Everyone of us cheers about Dell's ads all over the internet and magazine, and forgot to read between the lines. How much are those ads cost Dell? A few millions? ten's of millions?
Who cares! Those are nothing for Dell. What important is how much Dell's reputation? One Billion? Ten Billions? I really don't know.
All I know is that Dell puts its reputation as the second largest computer company in the world on the line for a tiny little company call Wave Systems when they come out and say "The world's most secure notebook"
