I don't know how Scottrade got all the awards thay claim to get. They are killing me. They advertise $7 trades ... I don't think I have ever had a $7 trade. $7 for a market order, but no market orders allowed. Limit orders cost $12 plus 1/2% of the revenue of the trade. What a ripoff.
