I think I have a answer for this:they consider a buy when the bid x ask is for example 22x23 and the trade is at 23, the same way is a sell, for example bid x ask 21x22 and the trade is at 21. In the case of the 2.89 mil not accounted the bid x ask was for example 21x23 and the trade was at 22. Hope it helps...you can check this here:
