I'm thinking that the company don't mind buying shares of HCPC at any price below the cost basis for the Insiders, but I think they would probably consider buying back shares quietly for a week or so before announcing major news of the closing of the deals. Since they already announced their intentions to buy back shares they would not be in any violation with the SEC of manipulating their stock price as it goes up.

I think people should really do the DD as these are the types of stocks that investors want to be in where the company supports the appreciation of its stock. IMHO
