ot: PVX is New York Stock Exchange. The others are Cash not margin. Although all are bought in a margin account you can't leverage your cash for a pink purchase. Example: you can buy PVX on margin so if you have 10,000 you can buy 20,000 worth of stock. A pink you can only buy your available cash level 10,000 not 20,000.

Not going to argue with all day, you'll figure out how it works some day. The point is you can't use the margin loan to purchase more of a pink stock than you have available cash in account. You are correct that you accessed margin by buying the NYSE stock. Call your broker and ask if pinks are marginable, that will clear up your confusion.
