Ingram Entertainment Holdings Inc. Companies selling books and CDs might get the star treatment, but Ingram Entertainment doesn't mind a supporting role. Ingram is one of the largest independent video, DVD, and computer game distributor in the US. It also distributes software, audio books, electronics, and used videos and games. From 22 US locations, Ingram serves more than 10,000 video stores, mass retailers, e-tailers, drugstores, and supermarkets (including Blockbuster, Amazon.com, and Circuit City). Ingram offers direct-to-consumer fulfillment services for e-commerce sites and has a majority stake in ad agency Frank, Best & Ingram. Chairman David Ingram owns 95% of the company, which was spun off from family-owned Ingram Industries in 1997.
