the 60w bulb idea is really an example of ac power. dc, think dc, low power high lumens because it does not cycle on and off every 1/60 of a second. think more like a flash light with a cell battery in it, very bright, low power consumption, lasts for hours on those little cells. its really about how many amp hours the batteries are rated for.
