You know what? You're right. I've been way to hard on Mary. She doesn't deserve it. She really is a nice person and deserves preferential treatment. In fact all SI posse members should get special treatment!
Some folks might read my comment about the F2F the way you chose to do. Others might read it that she said some things so offensive that my friends wished to step forward to defend my honor. I suppose it all comes down to perspective and people just seeing what they want to see.
