CWID Teams Conclude Favorably On GlobeTel's HotZone Wireless Technology
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Nov. 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/-- GlobeTel Communications Corp. (Pink Sheets: GTEM) has been informed that the 2007 Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstration (CWID) has yielded a summary of conclusions in its Final Report regarding GlobeTel's proprietary HotZone wireless communications technology.

CWID's Warfighter Operator team's conclusions indicated that "HotZone met its Integrated Communication CWID Objective by using VoIP DECT phones and providing a new technology that streamlined operational decision processes and enhanced the commander's command and control. HotZone's network easily handled broadband data, voice, and video."

The Technical Interoperability team at CWID concluded, "HZ4010 successfully provided an ad hoc network infrastructure for voice, video, and data applications and overall worked as advertised." It also went on to say, "If the government sponsor and/or vendor plan to interoperate the HZ4010 with Department of Defense systems, recommend the government sponsor and/or HotZone 4010/4020 vendor pursue Interoperability Certification in accordance with Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff Instruction 6212.01D, "Interoperability and Supportability of Information Technology and National Security Systems," 8 March 2006."

GlobeTel CEO Jonathan Leinwand stated "We're pleased with CWID's report and the results from the demonstrations of our HotZone technology. We feel privileged to have participated in the trials last June. We look forward to future demonstrations our technology to the US Armed Services."

CWID is the Chairman of the Joint Chief of Staff's annual event for demonstrating command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance technologies to combatant commanders from US armed services, NATO, and our English speaking allies. The demonstrations were held in June 2007 at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) in San Diego.

GlobeTel Communications was invited to CWID to demonstrate its proprietary HotZone technology in support of Homeland Security's demonstration for enhancement of coalition information and knowledge sharing capabilities among allied and other coalition partners. The purpose of the demonstration was to focus on a robust, joint and combined, inter-operable and multilingual information sharing capability. and for the enhancement of a commander's capability to command, control and coordinate across joint and coalition forces, government agencies, NGOs, and first responders.
