capt. I only track three charts, the Dow, the NYA, and primarily the SPX. They all topped on Oct. 12 and are now trending down. No need to debate the value of Elliott Wave again but it has certainly provided great guidance of late. I see nothing random in the market movements. It is as you have said all fudamentals and emotion. I just think emotion dictates the course of the fundamentals. Even the recent subprime debacle is the result of greed and a total lack of fear.
