I'm still not convinced that the Yankees won't try to keep A-rod although they will lose all credibility if they do join in the dog and pony show.

Steinbrenner had big words for Torre before the Cleveland game and then they didn't fire him, but "offered" him a bogus contract.

Without the Yankees deep pockets, the bidding war may not be as high, but someone will still sign A-rod.......you can be sure of that.
