Good thoughts to which I can only add that there is no business out there that will - or is able - to disclose how they do business in the day-to-day. I am willing to defend them because I have been in their position and understand what is required to maintain confidentiality in a ultra-competitive marketplace.

I remember the story of Bill Gates and Microsoft in its beginnings where IBM insisted that they conduct themselves behind closed doors. This translated into a locked door (literally). Gates had one locked door available to him - the closet in his dorm room. That is where he and Allen worked, often for hours at a time. Sounds so silly, but it is so true.
