I expect that we will now hear that Joe planned to shut the site down at the end of Oct all along.

Some fiduciary (read expense) responsibility that Barbara made him aware of in a timely fashion.

So he took his last shot yesterday, and faded away.

My guess, he got buttkiss out of the Centerline switch auction and she said...enough!
