Absolutely, they have a Dollar Tree store that just opened in this new marketplace here in Atlanta.
I like it a lot. Very clean. What I like about Market 99 more potenially is the Food Items. For the kind of square footage they are talking about, that should allow for a lot of perishable items to be sold, and would also help to compete with local and national supermarkets. Of course you aren't going to get the freshest fruits and vegetables, but for like everyday items, Milk, Meats, Eggs, Hotdogs, and also items such as Soda's, Chips, etc., that would save people a lot of money.
I know when I go to Publix and Kroger's or to a gas station, those items are way more than .99 in Most cases.
If they structure it correctly, it should be great.
Especially with there motto of Brand Name items. They partner with some major brands and are able to PR that along with a good spokesperson, that should be outstanding!
