I asked ST that Q and they told me it was for my protection. They want to be sure it is ME that is buying the stock, because your account info could be stolen. The crooks then uses your account funds to buy a stock to inflated the pps on a stock they own, they sell their personal stock and leave you the owner of a stock you don't want at inflated pps.

I know,I know, there's a bridge in Oakland I can sell you real cheap also, but that's what they told me.LOL

Aren't we luck to live in a world of sinister,deceitful, etc,etc, type people. GLTA
