Xylan ...... We're being censured!
I don't know if it's slow here on IHub's PBLS or more that all the posts are being deleted. Seriously, perhaps it's just me but it seems like an inordinate amount of PBLS posts are being deleted in recent days.
For instance, one day someone asks Shiz to loosen up and share some of the pictures he took on his recent trip to HQ; he kindly complies and provides a link to view them; next thing his post is deleted because some board bylaw states that you can't post links to other sites. Like that's ever been enforced around here before. In fact most of the better information gleaned from this board has come from folks who take the time to share something they've discovered by posting a link to another site where said information can be seen, if we're interested we check it out and we decide if it's worthwile or not; if we're not interested we take a pass. Granted some of the stuff posted here is garbage but I would like to retain the right to make those judgements and not have them made for me. Long live freedom of speech/expression!
Why the sudden crackdown? An over zealous mod could easily delete the majority of posts put on this board citing any of several infractions: off topic, personal attack and now no links to other sites. I hate to say it but the only purpose I can see here, is to censure as much as possible, the flow of PBLS information that used to happen using this board as a conduit. If the censuring continues to be applied with a strict hand, we will have been effectively gagged as a group of investors and this forum will hold little interest and even less purpose for us in future weeks; but then maybe that's the whole point!
