it's like those times when you have the game on the radio in the car or home at a crucial juncture and someone oh so near and dear to you is talking a mile a minute about a new paint color..kids birthday gift..fabulous recipe or home decor clipped from a magazine (here look at this) or any such thing that you will forget 2 seconds after you hear it.

Your face acts like you are listening to them but your brain and your ears are straining to hear the next pitch and wishing that you could somehow cast a spell and glue their mouth closed. (just for a few minutes)
