[Bird of Prey]

Alas, No. My handle predates tha book by almost 20 years. I do like his books though.

Originally I began using the handle during the mid seventy's CB radio craze. It referenced my continuing fascination with Falcons, Eagles, Owls and all of the other raptors. When I started college I began using the handle on the various bulletin boards. I quickly developed a reputation as being a somewhat formidable opponent in what are still referred to as "flame wars". One observer of a particularly nasty exchange commented that my handle must refer to the ultimate Bird of Prey, the mythical Dragon. Then Star Trek's introduction of the Klingon "Bird of Prey" clinched my permanent attachment to this handle. It fits perfectly in that it encompasses several of my areas of interest and can be descriptive of my personality as well. I certainly hope that your handle fits you equally well, for we need more wise eagles!
