Wave Systems to Demonstrate EMBASSY® Trust Suite Services With the Trusted Computing Group Community at Developer Trade Show
San Francisco, CA and Lee, MA – February 13, 2004 – Wave Systems Corp. (NASDAQ: WAVX – www.wave.com), today announced its EMBASSY® Trust Suite software will be demonstrated within the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) Community exhibition area, Booth 152, at the Intel Developer Forum, February 17-19, at the Moscone Convention Center, San Francisco.
Wave will demonstrate EMBASSY Trust Suite software, which is designed to deliver solutions compliant with the TCG specifications for trusted computing. The software suite works with a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) — a single chip solution embedded inside a PC. Millions of PCs have been shipped by the industry with TPMs installed. The TPM provides the resources used by the EMBASSY software to implement secure functions within the PC.
"Products such as those demonstrated by Wave Systems represent a wide variety of new security options for computer users," said Nancy Sumrall, chairman, TCG marketing work group. "With many of these services, applications, and systems now available, IT managers can improve security of sensitive data."
Wave will also be demonstrating a range of trusted client and server applications at the Intel, Atmel and National Semiconductor booths.
