I have concerns, I am not in yet and I need to find out about some stuff first.
The main obstacle is the environmental impact study. So far, from what I gather about Alabama, it is NOTHING like say, Illinois, Michigan, New York, or even Georgia. Alabama is much more friendly to business.
Normally an environmental impact study can take up to 1 year, but as a poster noted (a basher no less) it can be as little as 15 days. This could be a show stopper in most other states. My old state of Oklahoma, they tried to open a refinery and the company couldn't, even tho the state wanted it, EPA is the devil.
The second thing, and maybe even more troubling to me is the new shell company. If the company gets moved to the new shell, what will happen to the current shareholders? Normally, we would be covered, but someone mentioned something about all of us being left high and dry. Never a good thing.
I still think we have time. I always welcome the bashers. Look, they have a job to do, and if the MMs need to load up, then so do we?
Respectfully,
Uncle Meatball
