Why would hedge funds be so oblivious to the price they pay? I am hopeful this is this not the reason for the volume buying in such large blocks. Unfortunately it does make some sense. Anyone else would have a hard time explaining the sudden ravenous buying to the SCC if it is ahead of an announcement. This has tempered my optimism. Does the waiting ever end?
