I'm not sure what you disagree about.

On TCPA, I agree they did not have much of a role because as I've written many times... most standards groups are to PREVENT the writing of new standards. However, SKS is patient and I believe he did not give up on the issue of how to make TCPA relevant. I prefer to think that Lark and SKS had some important role in the transition of TCPA and its unanimous structure to TCG which could move trusted computing towards the mainstream. One way of describing a paradigm shift is by talking about a cult that becomes mainstream. The rapidly growing amount of industry information about TPMs indicates that Wave is about to move from Howie's cult to the mainstream.
We will see if we move from the mainstream to Gorillahood or at least as big as the other "original" members of the TCG.

If you are commenting that I should consider Verisign a major competitor -- I'd appreciate a further explaination of that opinion. While I agree that roles can change..... I suspect that the players WANT to keep ownership of Certificate Authority for authentication... and platform autentication (attestation) is separate provinces of Switzerland.

I agree it is one of the trickier points to get one's hands and mind around in this dark weekend before the spring. Heard that Pauxatawny Phil said "Six more weeks until Wavx!"
