I am construction consultant with over 30 years experience in and around the construction industry. I spent a fair number of years in the paint and heavy duty coatings industry as a coatings cosultant. I ran a cabinet shop on the side in my garage that I ended up selling to one of my employees. I then continued in various and sundry jobs for a couple of engineering firms. Been around industrial jobs related to fuel piping, electrical projects related to computer monitoring systems and pumping systems, and a lot of excavating, removing and replacing underground petroleum tanks and sytems.
I have also been a homeowner almost thirty years, performing all of my own maintenance, repair and upgrades, including a garage, several storage buildings, decks, a brick patio, a 1,000 gallon series of ornamental fish ponds, etc.
I also restify older vehicles with my current projects being a 69 Chevelle and a 57 Chevy.
I by no means think I know it all and love it when I learn something new every day.
