Thought I would have a little investigative fun this
weekend. Went to the library and pulled up some old
mineral records from the mining section.

Found some interesting tid-bits about War Eagle Mtn
and the Silver City Mining District. ( The District
includes DeLamar Mtn, Florida Mtn, and War Eagle )

War Eagle is where DCUT had the LOI with the
Wyoming group, earlier this summer.

Tidbits :

APPROXIMATELY 3.5 million ounces of Gold have been
processed in the District. Approximately 75 million
ounces of Silver have been processed in the District.

Something around 1.2 million ounces of Gold, and
21 million ounces of Silver have come from War Eagle.

Some Individual Mines on War Eagle :

The Poorman Mine produced 15.1 ounces Gold / ton at
the surface; and, 3.5 ounces Gold / ton at depth.

The Oro Fino Mine produced 8 ounces Gold / ton at
the surface; and, 7.5 ounces Gold / ton at depth.

The Golden Chariot Mine produced 13.4 ounces Gold / ton
at the surface; and, 1.5 ounces Gold / ton at depth.

So, at depth, around 600 feet to 1,000 feet, these mines
produced anywhere from 1.5 to 7.5 ounces Gold / ton
on a consistent basis.

In all the War Eagle Mines, the ore quality stabilized
( no increase or decrease in average yield ) at about
the 200-foot depth level and below.

The veins are epithermal in nature, with the highest
values concentrated on the surface, then a lower
consistency thru to depth. The Mountain is also classified
as a "Pocket" Gold producer, meaning that there are many
'pockets' of super-concentrated Gold placements
scattered throughout.

Not bad.
