Panther,

All that is true. I did about 3 years on aircraft carriers as a civilian training the navy in maintenence of avionics systems. Those guys loved to fly. They were heartbroken if their aircraft was down and they couldn't get another. Bush ceased to become a pilot in Alabama however when he failed to report for his annual physical. The reason some believe (totally unproven), is that he failed to take his annual physical because they had just added a drug test to it.

My own personal feeling is that once he could no longer fly he really had nothing to do so he cruised through Alabama until he got an early out to go to Harvard. They say you can't prove a negative, but I think this issue won't go away and he can't provide paystubs that reflect when he was there. He did barely get enough credits for his honorable discharge, but probably didn't get many of them while cruising through duty in Alabama. I think if he were honest and explained that the way I just did, the problem might go away. Honesty appears to be a serious problem for him. The Republican party is crumbling from within now. Not being affiliated with either party, I am just an observer. I have come over time to personally dislike him and the facts that Daddy's old cronies are calling the shots and he either agrees, or lacks the balls to really be the president. I will vote for the anti-Bush candidate this time around. I made a misteak in the last election by voting for him, as I feel many of us did.
