OMG. I know you guys talk about how clueless these front line reps are at the brokerages, and yes I have experienced it. But why in the world do these guys get defensive when they see you have a chance to make something out of (practically) nothing.
Just inquired about my LGYH shares, and the guy could not understand how I expected 100 shares of LGYH after buying the 100 CLRX. First, he was clueless to a R/S with the special condition. Then he seemed offended that I would "use the rules to make money."
ROFLMAO!!!
"Does etrade not make money off every trade I make? Dude, everywhere at any given time of the day somebody is "using the rule" to their advantage. By the way he was acting you'd think he started the brokerage, and had emotional ties to every dime. Incredible. OK, done getting that off my chest. I know it happens all the time, but it blows me away how they react when they see you expect to make something outta nothing. Thought that was what we were all doing here?!
