Going out on a limb

I believe that IDCC will receive notice that the Samsung III aplication has been rejected by the ICA/ICC this week. I believe the lawyers for IDCC will forward same to the new judge and request a hearing on the confirmation motion asap.

My rationale is that Nok paid about 22 cents per unit and Samsung would be paying about 31 cents per unit. I believe this would be fair and reasonable under the industry discounting based on production. Samsung's 400 million units compared to Nokia 1.15 billion units bolsters the royalty discount.

The award in Samsung II represents a fair resolution of the dispute between the parties rendering a third arbitration unnecessary. The new Tribunal has had a full 4 months to review Samsung II and I believe they have pulled the trigger and the ICC reviewed their decision last friday. We received notices in Nok and Samsung II within a week of ICC approval in the past.

If I am wrong, I offer my apology in advance.
