You should know there is a big difference in a company just starting up and one that is established in the market place.
It's not, necessarily, that the scam reports are believed, it is that people tend to defend what they believe until it is able to stand on accomplishment.
People making false claims get very little response from longtime, established companies simply because they are established and their past history, itself, defends them.
