Here is the truth and the final word on the GTE mess up with MGWB at the shareholders meeting. I have to post it here because the jerks at the GTE board keep removing it. They are too scared on the truth.
The truth is, GTE is a total mess. No money, no game plan and plenty of law suits.
After talking to Eric at the GrandPalms Resort, Tim, Rob and Danielle at GTE and Steve from MGWB and Ed the camera man from the shm, I have all the facts.
First and foremost, Rob lied when he said there was high speed at the shm just so MGWB would come down. Rob was also supposed to bring a monitor since you dont expect MGWB to haul a monitor down from Canada but Rob screwed up on that, too.
Both Ed and MGWB did not get all their money from GTE yet, will they ever?
MGWB was supposed to be picked up at the airport but somehow Rob screwed up and the MGWB staff hired their own car. The rooms at the hotel were supposed to be paid by GTE for the camera man and the staff, but Rob screwed up and everyone had to pay for it themselves.
See the pattern here?
At the hotel, MGWB checked in on the 20th and found out right away there was no DSL or T1. Called Rob and Tim, told them and GTE replied that MGWB must be mistaken. They were not mistaken, it was a total GTE screw up. Dr. Becker also notified the hotel that the wi-fi was down, and the hotel called in tech support to fix it. It began to work a little bit (kept going off line) on the night of the 20th. On the afternoon of the 21st, the hotel admitted it was not much more than a dial up signal.
MGWB arranged with Ed to digitize the shm and have it transmitted by a friend of Ed's, a company called OnStream. This was NOT a back up plan by the goof's at GTE, this was a plan laid out at the show by Ed and the MGWB staff. They saved the day and GTE was and continues to be a total screw up.
And you wonder why GTE stock in dropping like a stone?
Why GTE is getting sued by so many?
Why GTE is hanging on with stupied PR's?
Simple, dont get scammed again.
