Alley, been explaining to Raymond on the PM back channel why I jumped him about margin earlier. Couple of my investing lunch buddies got pinched off painfully in recent weeks on stocks other than IDCC because of over-reaching with margin leverage. They both got caught up in the January enthusiasm and failed to get square before the correction had them in trouble.

Margin leverage, option time limits, and trading the market swings are three things I have learned to stay away from(the hard way on all three I have to admit; i.e., "OUCH!, that stove is HOT! Stay away."). There are folks who know how to make money at those games, but I am not one of them. My investing game plan is to find situations that appear to have growth potential after doing all the DD I know how to do, and then own them until either that growth happens, or until something important in the situation changes for the worse.

My IDCC investment expectations are running a bit behind schedule, but doing just fine so far. I'm into the 4th year of owning IDCC shares, and still adding to the position when cash allows. BTW, Enjoy your market updates.
