OJ's bail is set at $125,000. He is expected to be released shortly. Under Nevada Revised Statutes, suspects are entitled to bail except in a capital case.

One of OJ's accomplices in the break-in has been accused of impersonating a police officer. He frisked Bruce Fromong and said, "I'm a cop and you're lucky this ain't LA or you'd be dead," as another accomplice brandished a semiautomatic pistol. The thugs also yelled "Police!" as they burst into the room. As of yesterday Fromong remained in critical condition in an LA hospital from a heart attack he suffered shortly after the incident.

Four accomplices thus far have been arrested and released pending court appearances. Two others are still being sought by police.

The items Simpson's accomplices took from the room are valued at as much as $100,000. Speaking of his attempt to recover the memorabilia to keep it out of the Goldman's hands, Kim Goldman, the sister of the man Simpson murdered said today, "He's ordered to pay us millions of dollars. If he went to Vegas to go collect on those things so we wouldn't, there's some irony in that." She also said she felt some satisfaction with Simpson's arrest. "I'm not going to lie to you, I do feel a little bit of elation to see him in handcuffs. I hope that in some way the pressure that we put on him for the last 13 years drove him to this."

"The case now is going to slow down tremendously -- the next in-court event takes place in mid-October and that's just a status conference to determine where the case goes from there," CBS News analyst Andrew Cohen said. "In the meantime, I expect there will be a lot of behind-the-scenes negotiations between prosecutors and defense attorneys over potential plea deals."

Simpson grimaces as the Judge reads off the list of charges:
Two counts of felony first-degree kidnapping;
Felony coercion with use of a deadly weapon;
Two counts of felony robbery with use of a deadly weapon;
Felony burglary while in possession of a deadly weapon;
Two counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon;
Felony conspiracy to commit kidnapping;
Felony conspiracy to commit robbery;
Misdemeanor conspiracy to commit a crime.
