"Why would a basher or group of bashers go through all the trouble of setting up a website to impersonate a former executive of the company? That makes no sense to me. Do you really believe they are that desperate to destroy Globetel?"

I guess you could answer that with another question:

Why would a basher or group of bashers go through all the trouble of posting on every available message board 24/7 over the past few years?

Is it because they have not succeeded in bringing down the company utilizing their worn and tired tactics and have now moved on to another method?

Are they afraid of Oct 15, 2007?

Their leaders have made predictions of GTEL/GTE/GTEM failing and being out of business many times over the past year. When the company continues to exist past the predicted date of non-existence, they merely brush it off in one post after beating the issue to death for many months previous to their date of doom.

There are only a few weeks left for them to cover and the heat has been turned up in the boiler room.

From this advantage, it looks like most of the sweating is coming from the very boiler room they occupy.
